The Montpelier section of the Green Mountain Club is sponsoring a hike this coming Sunday, Sept 12. This is a moderate 6 mile round-trip hike to a delightful lookout over the Bolton Valley. The elevation gain is 1700 ft. We will start on the Duck Brook Trail (formerly part of the Long Trail) at the trailhead on Bolton Notch Road. From there we will hike up to the Long Trail and north on the LT to Harrington View, which looks out over the Bolton Valley ski area and also north to Mt Mansfield.
