Our final concert in the "Grange on the Green" season is next Thursday (9th September) at 5.30pm on the Library porch with picnicking on the Town Green from 5pm. This joint Library/Grange event is free and features music from the Will Patton Trio. Will Patton, David Gusakov and Dono Schabner have been playing their spirited stew of world music around the Northeast for over twenty years. Drawing from Gypsy jazz and Brasilian choro styles, they create an improvisatory dialogue rich in melodic and harmonic invention. Mandolin Magazine has described the music as "elegant, memorable lines . . . powerful and sophisticated, perfectly capturing the essence of the style."
