Vote Yes for GAC Filtration System Aug. 20!

The Water Commissioners of Grand Isle Consolidated Water District encourage eligible voters to vote YES for the bond for the GAC filtration water system August 20th (at the Fish Hatchery)! After months of studying two treatment options for meeting EPA regulations, the board has decided that GAC is the better and more prudent option over adding another chemical and installing a chloramine system. Although more costly to install, a GAC filtration system will deliver quality drinking water to the users and the board believes it is the more economical and financially responsible choice to comply with current and anticipated future EPA regulations.

All registered voters in Grand Isle who live within the district can vote. The Water Commissioners encourage all eligible voters to vote YES this Tuesday at the Grand Isle Fish Hatchery, 7am to 7pm.

Thank You!
