Shortly after returning home from vacation in May, Corporal Dean Fullerton of the Winooski Police Department was diagnosed with High-Grade-B-Cell Lymphoma, which is a type of blood cancer. Treatments started immediately - even with this diagnosis, Dean has remained positive and his amazing sense of humor has not changed. The City of Winooski is hosting an honorary blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross at the Winooski Senior Center on Friday, September 17, 2021. Please join us to support Dean and donate in his honor.

Dean has been in Vermont law enforcement since 2000. Before coming to the Winooski Police Department in October of 2011, Dean spent 7 years with the Springfield VT Police Department. Dean has been married to his wife Cheryl for 21 years. In their spare time, they spend it with their cat Daisy and their dog Doug. Dean and Cheryl enjoy fishing and traveling around Vermont exploring this beautiful state.
