When Someone Gets Hurt, Do You Know What To Do?

Empower yourself with first aid knowledge, herbal wisdom, and the confidence to act when it counts most! Professional medical care is often inaccessible, whether due to a remote location, a natural disaster, or economic circumstances. For me, getting medical training has been lifechanging (first as a Wilderness First Responder, then as an EMT, and finally as a Street Medic & Street Medic Trainer). When people get hurt I know how to respond, whether we are on top of a mountain or on the Statehouse Lawn. There is such a deep satisfaction in being able to help others when they are sick or injured (such a contrast to the helplessness and fear I used to feel!). Getting this training is an act of compassion and service to your community.

In the Village Medic Training we will combine classic First Aid training with the herbal knowledge that will help you tap into the incredible resources of the plant kingdom all around us. You will build your very own Herbal First Aid Kit during the class. The class is co-taught by myself and herbalist Rebecca Dalgin, will run from 9-5 on May 17 & 18 in Plainfield, VT, and is open to all genders (minors must attend with a guardian). You can read a more detailed description of the class and register at www.mountainsongexpeditions.com. Register now while there is still space in the class -- I can't wait to see you there!
