Imagine running a 5k that begins and ends on a lavender farm!?
Nestled in the Northeast Kingdom is a beautiful farm that boasts of lavender, sunflowers, vegetables, herbs and much more! The views from the farm are nearly 360° and absolutely amazing! This is a family event and all ages whether you're a walker or a runner are welcomed.....no dogs please!
We are excited to have Vermont Eden Ice Cider joining us from 10:30-5 p.m. so come reward yourself after with available tastings!!
This course is located at the tip of Vermont along the Canadian border. This course insides rolling hills, fields, dirt roads, and a little bit of tarmac. Sancks and water will be provided for participants.
We will have Berthe's Homemade raised donuts, homemade jams, dilly beans and more for sale.
Chef Crowell will be serving up specialty grilled cheese sandwiches with or without additions such as pulled pork, ham, hot peppers or tomatoes.
Lavender Essentials of Vermont will have lavender lemonade fresh or as an ice pop, cookies, cotton candy and much more to satisfy your culinary curiosity.
After the race you can walk the lavender labyrinth, stroll around the lavender farm and read the placards, pet the calf or horse, learn what we grow, smell the flowers, check out what is available for "you-pick" flowers and herbs and stop by the gift shop for more lavender specials!
This is a gorgeous course so be sure to bring your camera!
