Cooks will be absent from The Charlotte Senior Center the week of Aug. 16, but this doesn't mean you can't enjoy a companionable meal.

Sign up for Bring Your Own Bag Lunch at noon on Wed. Aug. 18. The Senior Center will provide homemade cookies and something to drink.
