TOWN OF BRISTOL
A COMMUNITY CONVERSATION ON SAFETY, SECURITY, AND POLICING
SATURDAY, AUGUST 14, 1:00 – 3:00 PM

Following up on the community meeting held last year, and in response to national and regional events regarding law enforcement, communities across Vermont and around the country are having conversations about what creates a feeling of safety and security for their citizens. One element of safety and security is community policing.

This is a complex topic with a long history and many points of view. The goal of this meeting is to continue a conversation on the topic generally and on the subject of the operation of the Bristol Police Department.

Chief Nason views this meeting as an opportunity to listen and learn from the community on whose behalf the department serves. Bristol resident and State Senator Christopher Bray will serve as moderator.

HOW TO ATTEND
Residents may participate in person at Holley Hall (upstairs) or join the same meeting remotely via Zoom.
