First of all, thanks for all those who showed up last TANDÉM. It was very fun and interesting to see everyone interacting, getting to know each other while practicing Spanish. I was really impressed with how willing everyone was to make an effort and I only hope this group grows. It would be wonderful to let others -- that would like to learn other languages -- know, that this is an all language exchange, so those are also welcomed. It does not have to be Spanish<>English. If you know someone interested, share the word please. You may come with the intention to learn Spanish, because most people are on that boat, but if you find others that would like to practice French (for example) you can always switch to that and have multiple learning nooks. This may seem like a long shot but I just wanna put it out there so that we are all aware that it's not solely spanish<>english.
As a native Spanish speaker, I can now speak for this group to have enough people looking to learn Spanish with some English support. If you know anyone interested in coming to meet people and practice another language while surrounded by others on the same boat, just show up!
Good news, the first turnout was great (thanks again for those who showed up), we are repeating again this Wednesday 6-8pm at FOX MARKET (3070 US-2, East Montpelier, VT 05666). location is subject to change, but for consistency, we will do FOX MARKET this time again.
