We're looking for 10-12 volunteers to cut back vegetation along the causeway in South Hero on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
We're glad to help the community and the VT Dept of Fish & Wildlife keep the path clear so cyclists, anglers, and others can safely and comfortably enjoy this beautiful resource.
Details:
Wednesday, August 4, 2021, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
BYOT ("Bring Your Own Tools") including pruners, a rake, etc.
Wear a long-sleeve shirt and gloves (watch for poison ivy!)
Bring hydration and food.
Push the cuttings onto the rocks but not into piles nor directly into the water.
