Join the 5 Town Youth Mtn Bike team! [for middle and high schoolers entering grades 5th-12th]
please come to Information meeting and pumptrack ride on AUGUST 5th 5-7pm @ Bristol Rec Pavilion.
Come with your bike and helmet. Bring a friend you think may be interested in the team!
Community partners are aiming to build a culture of committed mountain bikers, ready to hone their skills, be stewards of the trails, and foster a friendly encouraging spirit for the sport. Team trail rides once/wk. Individual training will also be expected. Good working mtn bike with front/full suspension is a must, and your own transportation to training and races is a plus. We'll train as a team for fall race schedule hosted by VT Youth Cycling. More info on the race layout and dates: VTyouthcycling.ORG
Costs: $200/season, includes VT Youth cycling registration, 4 Fall race entrances, VMBA membership, MoBB membership, local skills coaching, pitcrew service on race days. Scholarships may be available, please inquire.
