My Father's Dragon is the tale of young Elmer Elevator who longs to be able to fly. Elmer happens upon a cat that has an idea of a way to make this dream possible for Elmer. But, the cat cautions Elmer, he would need to travel to a place called Wild Island (off the coast of Tangerina as we all know).

This book is most appropriate for children in grades K-3. We'll read in the shade in the back yard, or indoors, depending on the weather.

Cathi will start reading My Father's Dragon at 3 PM on Tuesday. Children and/or adults are welcome to spend some time before or after exploring the library, using a computer, playing games, or just visiting in the shady back yard
