Community KNOTWEED CONTROL WORKSHOP: Thurs 29th 2 to 5 pm
The Warren Conservation Commission is hosting a Knotweed Control Workshop at Quayle Bend conservation area on Rt 100, south of the Access Road in Warren. The workshop will run continuously from 2 to 5 pm on Thurs Aug 29th. Members of the Commission and UVM interns will lead small groups in a hands-on experience to gain an in-depth understanding of the plants behavior. There will also be a detailed inspection of various control technique examples. This will enable individuals to tackle their own knotweed patches with confidence.
Educational and fun for the whole family. Come anytime for a personalized tour and training. Take a swim and enjoy this great spot along the river that is regaining its natural vegetation.
