This is so exciting! This year we have two fabulous chefs preparing dinner and desserts for Wallingford Day. VtBliss and Mamma Tamara Italian Cucina will be serving you deliciousness starting at 5:00pm at the Stone Meadow pull-off, just over the foot bridge from the music and fireworks!
Mamma Tamara will be serving Lobster Ravioli (which is outrageous), Eggplant Parmesan, Stuffed Shells, Lasagna, Meatball Sausage, and Chicken Parmesan, and Coconut Tofu with Broccoli and Rice (also outrageous). Desserts include Sfogliatelle (it's a pastry, not a typo), chocolate braid croissants, hazelnut fan.
VT Bliss menu includes The Bliss Burger with Pablano Bacon Jam, Buffalo Chicken Sliders, Chicken Gyro, Creole Poutine, Chicken Tenders, Butterflied & Grilled Makenzie Hot Dogs with bacon jam, creole peppers, onions and Andouille sausage sauce &/or candied jalapeños.
Vegan and vegetarian options include Greek Kale Salad with sun-dried tomatoes, Kamata olives, pine nuts, feta optional and Beyond Sausage with sauerkraut. For dessert you can look forward to Maple Blondie Sundaes and Blueberry Georgia Peach Crisp served warm with whipped cream or a la mode!
