Monday, July 19th- Come celebrate the return of Amtrak! Vermont Amtrak is kicking off it's first day back in service through the State. Windsor has a long standing history of being an important location on the Amtrak route and with a brand new platform, there is cause for a celebration! Join us to cheer on the train at the new platform, the train will be running on it's pre-Covid schedule, arriving around 11:56am. This event will run from 11:30am until after the train departs. Coffee and pastries will be available. While you are waiting for the train to arrive, or after the train has left, stop over to the Welcome Center to view the Windsor Historical Association's special train exhibit in honor of the event. The exhibit will be open to view from 11:00am-1pm.
