South Hero Recreation Bicycle Event #2

We all had a great time on the first bike trip to Burlington on July 7. The next trip is to Plattsburgh by way of West Shore Road , the Grand Isle Ferry and the bike trail in New York for Ice cream and/or lunch! Group biking event for ages 8 and over to participate without a parent. Group size is limited to the first 20 respondents. Bring at least $5 for ice cream and bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water in a backpack for riding or a bag attached to the bike. Carol T can supervise 6 participants but will need another adult for each group of 6 riders. Riders need a good working road or mountain bike, a spare tube in case of flats. Meet at the Worthen library parking lot on Route 2 at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 and plan to be back around 2-3PM that day. Free event for anyone from South Hero who wants to participate and the Town Recreation department will cover the ferry ride.
