"Round Barn: History", a program presented by the Grand Isle Historical Society, will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 2 at the Grand Isle Elementary School. Learn the history of the 230-year-old farm and of the iconic 1903 round barn. We will 'meet' the men behind the development of the farm and the northern end of the town of Grand Isle.
This is a unique property, not just in Grand Isle but in Vermont. If you have stories about the Round Barn, the Historical Society would like to hear them. The program is free, open to the public and accessible. Though questions have been raised about the future of the barn, this program will not discuss the Evernorth proposal.
