Waitsfield UCC Village Meeting House returns to in person community dinners. Please join us for this free meal on Friday June 25th @ 5:30 pm. This month's meal is hosted by our local Mason's.
The meal will include pork tenderloin broiled with herbs and spices served as thin roundels in a pesto pasta (basil, olive oil, parmesan, cashews on farfalle pasta). There will be a batch of pasta without meat for the vegetarians. Depending on the temps there will be a hot baked black bean side with roasted red peppers or if it looks hot out, a cold black and red bean and silver/gold baby corn salad with onions, cilantro and cider vinegar/maple dressing.
We look forward to gathering in person now that the governor's COVID guidance has been updated. We suggest, but do not require, that unvaccinated persons, including young people, still wear masks. All other restrictions have been lifted. We also understand that vaccinated and unvaccinated folks are in different places around whether or not to mask and distance. If that is your choice, we honor it. Looking forward to sharing a meal, good conversation and reconnecting after a long pause.
