Zoomed out? Writers' Wertfrei, the WPL's monthly writers' group will meet in the Library's garden for the summer for fresh air, sunshine, and face-to-face good tales. Bring 3-5 pages of your work, or just come and enjoy listening to others if you wish. When: Saturday, June 19th from 10-noon. At the back of the parking lot, the Waterbury Public Library has a beautiful garden and picnic table, or bring your own folding chair if you like. Whether you have a regular writing habit or want to start one, you are welcome. "Wertfrei" comes from "Wertfreiheit: meaning non-judgmental or value-free. These gatherings are a place where writers can come, share their work, receive comments and suggestions in a supportive, caring environment. We meet the 3rd Saturday of the month.
