Mary premiered Larsen's newest song cycle The Other Side of Silence . . . with text by 19th-century novelist George Eliot (author of Middlemarch) . . . just a few weeks ago at the Brooklyn Art Song Society's New Voices Festival and looks forward to sharing this deeply personal and vulnerable set of songs.

On this program, she'll be joined for an intimate discussion about the music and text by Libby Larsen and pianist and Brooklyn Art Song Society Artistic Director Michael Brofman who commissioned, presented, and performed in the World Premiere of the work. Following their conversation, we'll watch the performance of The Other Side of Silence.
