The Winooski Gardening Group is sponsoring our 15th annual Plant Share on Saturday, May 22nd from 10:00 am -12:00 pm at Richards Park on Lafountain Street, adjacent to the Armory.
Here is how the Plant Share will work to ensure people's safety and enjoyment;
* Please wear a mask, socially distance & check in.
*Feel free to use the hand sanitizer station near the gazebo, then on to sign-in table and continue to various plants/items designated zones. We ask you to hold off socializing until you are done touring the Plant Share area; thank you in advance for your patience.
*Free event for all people interested in supplementing their garden or starting a new one.
*Bring your surplus vegetables, herbs, houseplants, annuals, perennials, shrub and/or tree saplings, seeds and gently used gardening tools
*Label plants include name, if plant prefers shade or sun and if invasive/aggressive growing plant.
*Have plants in a give-away container whether newspaper, brown or plastic bag, etc.
* Plants should be pest-free and healthy.
*Leftovers will be left adjacent to the gazebo for 24 hours.

for more information on our gardening efforts and planting schedule starting next Wednesday, May 26th meeting in front of Winooski City Hall. Thursday, May 27th we will meet in front of the Winooski Block. Bring your gardening tools if you have some otherwise we all have extras to lend to you.
