Stop by the Lanpher Memorial Library on Saturday, May 1st 9:00-12:00. You can pick up your Green Up Day bags AND/OR write a wish on a piece of fabric to tie into the branches of the Oak Tree in front of the Library.
May 1st is our 3rd Annual Wish Tree Day, inspired by the book "Wish Tree", by Katherine Applegate.
Students from Hyde Park Elementary School walked between the raindrops April 30th to put their wishes in the tree. It looks so beautiful, but there are still lots of branches ready to hold wishes.
If you can't make it to the Library 9-12 Sat. May 1st, you can send us your wish through an anonymous online form on our website: lanpherlibrary.org and we'll get your wish on the tree.
Thank you to Robin Bryce, Librarian at Hyde Park Elementary School; and Melanie & Everett Dickinson for their time and efforts to help make our 3rd Annual Wish Tree Day happen.
