In light of the Derek Chauvin verdict, Lamoille Democrats will focus our May meeting on racial justice issues. We will hear from Maroni Minter, Campaign Director of the Vermont ACLU, as well as Saudia Lamont, Chair of the Real Equity Alliance of Lamoille's (REAL) Steering Committee. Maroni will discuss statewide racial justice issues that the ACLU is focusing on, while Saudia will share information about the work that REAL is leading in our local community.
