Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group - April 29

Past event
Apr 29, 2021, 6 to 8 PM

We are a local group exploring our family histories in relation to slavery. If you have identified ancestors who were slave-holders / enslavers or ancestors who were enslaved, we invite you to join us. We meet to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Our meetings include an educational component for new researchers and a time to discuss how our research connects to the current struggles for racial justice. Our next monthly meeting is Thursday, April 29, 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
