Renters, as well as businesses and homeowners, may be subscribers if they receive a Green Mountain Power electric bill. Acorn Energy Co-op will offer a short introduction and time for everyone's questions to be answered. Using locally generated solar electricity replaces the use of sources from the ISO-New England regional grid which may contain energy from nuclear plants, fracked gas wells, and coal plants, and also mega hydro dams. Bristol Community Solar would offer cost savings over time and cleaner electricity.
