The Lewis Creek Association is working with local landowners to encourage management that supports our landscape's ability to sequester and store carbon and otherwise mitigate the harmful effects of climate change.
Join Ethan Tapper, the Chittenden County Forester, Thursday April 8 at 6:30 PM, for a discussion of how to manage for carbon in our forests while also creating a healthy, vibrant, functional landscape. Ethan will also discuss how lands in Vermont's Use Value Program can be managed for carbon sequestration and storage, in addition to climate resilience and adaptivity, while complying with UVA Standards.
Pre-registration required at https://forms.gle/4NfB2fiaLMhscffZ6. You will receive an e-mailed link to the Zoom meeting before the presentation. Ethan's presentation will also be recorded, and viewable afterwards on our YouTube channel.
