J.S. Bach's Six Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin are among the most inventive, profound, and challenging works ever written. Soovin Kim, Artistic Director of the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival and celebrated for his interpretations of these pieces, will discuss and demonstrate how Bach created a rich, multi-voiced sound world using the traditionally melodic, single-voiced violin.
