The Community Firewood Program, sponsored by the Craftsbury Energy Committee and Neighbors to Neighbors, has 12 cords of log-length wood that we need to process and deliver.
We are hosting a Firewood Processing Bee on Sat., 4/10, 9 am - 1 pm on the north end of the Dustan Field parking lot.
We are looking for volunteers to help cut, split, and load the wood.
Log Splitters - we are also looking for log splitters. If you cannot make it that Sat. with your log splitter, I would gladly pick it up and deliver it back to your residence and be responsible for it.

The firewood will eventually go to households in the area who may not be able to afford firewood for this upcoming winter season.

Since we are a town-sanctioned group with liability concerns we will be practicing general safety and COVID safety needs.

The purchase of the firewood was made possible with a grant from the VT. Community Foundation.
