Capital City Concerts presents its final concert of the season on Saturday, April 26, 7:30PM at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier: “Maids in Vermont” performed by an all-Vermonter ensemble of five women: Mary Rowell (violin), Stefanie Taylor (viola), Frances Rowell (cello), Rebecca Kauffman (harp), and Karen Kevra (flute). They have performed collectively on the world's great stages and in ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, American Symphony, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, NYC Ballet Orchestra, Radio City Music Hall Orchestra and Harrisburg Symphony.

This colorful and perfect-for-spring concert includes works by Jacques Ibert, Ernst von Dohnanyi, Bohuslav Martinu, Lowell Liebermann, and Jean Francaix. By mixing and matching, the performers will become ensembles from duos to quintets.

After the concert, a catered reception by the Skinny Pancake will celebrate the launch of VPR Classical in the Montpelier area. The reception is free and open to concert ticket holders.

For more information and to charge tickets ($10-$25) please go to www.capitalcityconcerts.org. Tickets may also be purchased in person (cash or check only) at Bear Pond Books, Montpelier.
