There is one consent agenda item. The consent agenda is a process that allows minor amendments to be processed through a more immediate process. The PC will either approve or deny the application at the meeting and, sign the letter the next day. Also, there is usually no discussion (the way a typical application is presented with the planner and the applicant and/or engineer giving a presentation on the project), however clarifying questions are permitted. The PC has the discretion to pull the application off the consent agenda and either hear it immediately or continue the application to another date.

Consent Item: Andrew Pitrowiski, landowner of 306 & 314 Lost Nation Road submitted a boundary line adjustment between two parcels (one lot developed, one lot vacant land). Both lots will remain in conformance with the Regulations, and the vacant lot will accommodate a 4-bedroom single family home with onsite water and wastewater. Both lots are located in the AR (Agricultural-Residential) zone.

Next on the Agenda is Annie Cooper, new(er) to the Economic Development Commission (EDC), and already Chair! She replaced Jim Bernegger's position as he resigned. We did work Jim hard, and he was so good at meeting people and making things happen. He will be missed. Annie has big shoes to fill, but we all know she can do it! Other members of the EDC are Brian Shelden, Vice Chair; Botur Kosimi, Clerk; Jeff Benjamin; and one vacancy. If you are interested in this position please click here: visit the listing for more information or go to the website www.essexvt.org.

Many of us know Annie, but this is your opportunity to hear a brief bio and virtually meet Annie. Annie is full of energy and a happy person!

Did you know a Housing Commission was formed a few months past? Katie Ballard, Chair will also be providing a bio on her and the works for the Commission. Please plan to attend to meet Katie and learn more about her and the goals of the Commission.

Each year the PC reviews the Residential Phasing Report. This report keeps track of the number of bedrooms approved each year with residential development applications. This is tool to assist in growth in the Town.

Hope to see you at the meeting!
