Calling all lovers of Democracy: You might have heard that it's an election year. Jericho Democrats (and our neighboring committees) are bringing back an old tradition and inviting Democratic and Progressive candidates for local and statewide office to the Jericho Community Center for a meet and greet on October 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. We'll have a few short speeches and lots of time for you to chat with candidates, ask questions, give input, etc. It's also a great time to visit with your neighbors. We'll have crackers and cakes (of course) and cheese and cookies, too. Bring a plate to share if you want! The event is BYOB, so if you want to pick up a bottle of wine or a six-pack to share, that's great. Or feel free to just share what others bring! No RSVP necessary. Hope to see you there!
