In collaboration with Addison Central Teens, the Peace & Justice Center of Burlington is hosting a "Seeing and Disrupting Racism" workshop, which will define racism and white fragility, explore how white fragility perpetuates racism, and challenge participants to consider what steps they can take to disrupt racism at every level. This workshop was developed for predominantly white audiences, but all community members are welcome.
There will also be an affinity space adjacent to the workshop, for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to share their experiences and explore their identities. This space is only for those who identify as non-white.
