Thursday morning on Goddard College Community Radio: Hollister Hill Farm in Marshfield has passed from 1970s back-to-the-landers to a new generation of back-to-the-landers.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Bob and Lee Light moved to Vermont in the 1970s, with no farming background, and got their start farming on Littlewood Farm in Plainfield, before moving to Hollister Hill Farm in Marshfield. They added a bed and breakfast to the farm, and through it, they met the city family that just took over ownership in November, Neil and Catherine Dunlop and their three kids. We'll talk about the joys and troubles of farming in Vermont now and over the last 50 years.
