Santa Claus is coming to town!!! Santa will be arriving in Middletown Springs on Sunday, December 6th at 3:00pm. Due to Covid-19, there will not be the traditional Breakfast with Santa, but that will not stop Santa from spreading holiday cheer this year. Santa will ride on a fire truck to wave to the young and young at heart!
Santa's route will be as follows:
1. South Street to Daisy Hollow Road
2. East Street to the Rt 140 intersection
3. West Street to Parker Water Wells
4. North Street to Hemenway Drive
Santa will wave to everyone at their residences along the route. If you wish to wave to Santa at a road intersecting the route, please be safe, wear a mask, and social distance. MSVFD is happy Santa is making the long trip from the North Pole this year! MSVFD believes we all (adults and children) need a little extra holiday cheer this year. Adults and children, of all ages, are welcome to come out on your porch or lawn to wave to the jolly fellow! Remember, his route will start promptly at 3:00pm on Sunday.
MSVFD will also continue the tradition of the magic mailbox! The Letters to Santa mailbox will be set up outside of the firehouse starting Sunday, December 6th. It will be placed on the walkway near the entrance of the building. The mailbox will be set up through December 12th. The mailbox will be zero contact. There will be a table, hand sanitizer, and pencils. The mailbox, pencils, and table will be sanitized frequently. The Letter to Santa forms will be in a plastic container on the table. Please complete the form and drop it in the mailbox. As always, all letters will have a response from Santa before Christmas.
Please be sure to print neatly, accurately, and confirm the correct mailing address to ensure a quick response from Santa.
Happy Holidays from MSVFD and the Big Guy!!!
