Looking for something positive to celebrate? After 2.5 years of chemotherapy, our son will complete his treatment for childhood leukemia Sunday, December 6th. In a normal year, we would have a big party with friends, family and strangers. But 2020 and Covid doesn't quite allow that to be a possibility. Instead, we are coordinating a vehicle parade for our four-year old son, Ari, with the assistance of the Essex Fire Department and the Richmond and State Police Departments.
The parade line up will begin where Southview Drive connects to Hidden Pines Circle. If you would like to participate in the parade, wonderful...the more the merrier! For those that can't, thank you to our supportive community and neighborhood for helping make this special event possible and for everything you have done for our family over the course of his treatment.
The parade will begin at 11:00 am and will be quick - a lap or two around Hidden Pines Circle. Feel free to decorate your car, make a sign, or just honk and waive!
