Have you wondered how they could possibly restore Paris's Notre Dame after the devasting fire? The following described program will tell you how it was accomplished.

January 21, 7:00 pm, at the Richmond Free Library. Special Event: Vermont Craftsman Helps Restore Notre Dame Cathedral.

Join Will Wallace-Gusakov for a presentation on his Notre Dame de Paris restoration work. He'll share images, videos, stories and insights from the rebuilding effort, both from the workshop in Normandy and on-site at the cathedral in Paris.

Co-sponsored by the Richmond Historical Society and the Bolton-Richmond-Huntington Community Senior Center.

Will Gusakov, a native of Bristol, Vermont, has been restoring, designing and building timber frame structures for the last twenty years. In 2010 he was invited to spend a year working and studying in France with the medieval trades guild Les Compagnons du Devoir, and he spent 6 months in 2023 working to rebuild the timber frame roof of the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral.
