****Reminder*****
UPDATE The community splitting day on the 14th of November(the boys will not be there)
We have some volunteers, we can use more, the weather looks good for Saturday, we may need an extra splitter or two, anyone want to lend us their splitter for the day?(I can come pick it up and drop it off)
We will have 4 splitters that can be used and figure we will split from 9-3 and have lunch around 12:30, some Veggie Chili. Stay for an hour or stay for the whole time.
We will all be wearing masks.
We need pods of about 3-4 people per splitter( so we can socially distance) that will look like this; -One person to feed the splitter; must be experienced) -one person to feed the log rounds to the person splitting -one person to run the splitter controls(can be a kid doing that, at least 10 years old) -one person to throw the logs onto the pallets (can be kids doing this)
We need to be safe and keep socially distant. We can have as few as 2 people running a splitter and would like to run the splitters for the full time that we are out there
Please let me know how many will be in your group, and how long you can be there for?
Thanks for contributing towards keeping our community a little warmer!!
