An Invitation to Discuss Policing in Vermont at This Week's Select Board Meeting:
The Select Board has received a letter from the Vermont State Police seeking input from towns across Vermont.
"As law enforcement changes, it is of fundamental importance that we make changes that reflect the desires and goals of the people we serve. We want to hear directly from you and the people you represent about your priorities, your concerns, and how we can ensure that policing in your town keeps Vermont a safe, just, and welcoming place for everyone. Your input will have a direct impact on policing in your community."
The Select Board invites townspeople to attend this week's meeting and share thoughts during our public comment period. We will compile and share your remarks with the VSP.
