BRING A BLANKET TO REST ON AND MAKE SPACE! ….and a sweater!
We seek to connect in tangible, somatic, and material life. We seek to hold space for building of community. We humbly seek to answer the call for monetary support in troubling times, for all of us- and especially for two tender international artists navigating the tyranny of borders and the experiences of a highly racialized and classist society.
Pavi and Polash have a ticket home to their community in India and Bangladesh in November, but mounting obstacles ask them to reckon with the possibility of staying in the United States for the foreseeable future.
It's not just the looming cold! Warm boots and hats, It's the labyrinth of attaining residency and licenses, the work of approaching the United States Immigration system, and the reality of being separated from one another if they return home across the seas- Borders are closed between regions, covid-19 rages on, while government corruption and mismanagement prevail.
Support their Free Movement, Sliding scale, $50-$100. Offer what you can!
