In a little over two weeks Green Up Day will be here. Be sure to get a bag from Dudley Store, the Town Office, or bring your own and spend a few hours picking litter around the neighborhood.

Kylie Dunshee, winner of the 2014 Green Up Day Writing Contest (Grade 7, Hinesburg Community School) summed it well when she wrote

“…Green Up Day gets everyone in a positive mood to make the world a cleaner place…Green Up Day is a great tradition to make the world cleaner, hopefully one day there will be no more littering and everyone can throw away their trash responsibly.”
