After the Rodeo features talented songwriters D Davis on guitar, Matt Schrag on mandolin and guitar, and Pat Melvin on bass. The trio will offer three-part harmonies as they perform jazz, traditional blues & bluegrass, and folk at Tuesday Night Live on August 20 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM on the Legion Field.
Tuesday Night Live is free, just bring a blanket or chair. Enjoy the music and support the Johnson Historical Society by purchasing slices of homemade pie, cake, McKenzie hotdogs and salads. Many vendors on-site.
Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but, it is only lightning and thunder that will cancel the event.
Tuesday Night Live is coordinated by Cal Stanton with community businesses providing financial assistance: Concept 2, DJ's Corner Store, Foote Brook Farm, Forget Me Not, Hub Pizza & Pub, Johnson Hardware/Rental, Johnson State College, Laraway Youth & Family Services, and The Lovin' Cup. Also, Molde, Black & Govoni; Polow, Polow & Mahoney; ProspectRock.Org; Rock Art Brewery; The Studio Store; and The Studio Center.
