I'm going to have a yard sale this Sunday 8/18 from about 9 am to 3 or 4 pm, whenever it seems die off. But this isn't any ordinary yard sale, because all of the proceed go to a fundraiser! My daughter, Hailee, loves to dance and has been going to Stowe Dance Academy for the past two years. This year, her tuition will cost more because she has been placed in a higher level dance class that meets twice per week, costing twice as much. Hailee will be turning 9 in September and because she knows we can't really afford the dance classes this year, she decided that instead of getting birthday gifts, she'd rather have a fundraiser for her dance classes, isn't that a great idea?! So we told friends and family to go to her fundraising site and donate there instead of getting her gifts. She said that taking dance all year is much better than toys! And she is right. So this Sunday, everything we make from the yard sale will be going to her dance classes.
