COOK BY THE BOOK: GARDEN HARVEST: COOKING AND PRESERVING WITH SPECIAL GUEST MARIA READE

Join the Cook by the Book Cookbook Discussion Club in a free Zoom meeting on Tuesday, August 18, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. to discuss cooking and preserving our garden harvest. Special guest Maria Reade, Editor of Edible Vermont, will also join the group to discuss the new cookbook Waste Not: How to Get the Most from your Food. The cookbook offers recipes and tips for full-use cooking from award-winning James Beard chefs. With Vermont's universal recycling and composting law now in effect, this book provides timely and delicious guidance on how to transform stems, peels, and perfectly edible scraps from waste into something wonderful!
