Yoga for Beginners - Next Session of Classes
Have you ever wanted to try a yoga class, but you didn't think you were flexible enough? Have you ever attended a yoga class where the instructor assumed that you knew the poses or the instructor moved through the poses too fast that you couldn't keep up? These classes are geared towards the beginner, with emphasis on instruction, pace, and poses, and are appropriate for all skill levels. The focus will be on stretching, strengthening, and balance while standing and also while on the floor on a mat.
The next 6-week session of Yoga for Beginners classes through Zoom will be starting on 7/27. Classes will be on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
It is your option to have your video on or off during the class.
The dates are 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31. The fee for the 6-week session is $60 per household and the fee per class is $12 per household. These classes are taught by Marianne Orest, UVM Hatha Yoga Certified.
