In this workshop, Steve Herbert will explain how dowsing goes far beyond just locating water, and can be a very useful and inexpensive complementary management tool in all manner of decisions one needs to make in farming, gardening or ranching.
With the aid of a simple pendulum and a suite of charts, one can discern levels of macro, micro & trace nutrients, as well as pH, Cation Exchange Capacity, Base Saturation Ratio or any other parameter normally found on a lab test. It can also determine organic fertilizers, amendments, soil conditioners or innoculants most appropriate to make corrections.
Application method, amount and timing can also be identified. Best timing for sowing and harvesting can be revealed as well. Dowsing can help one select best cultural practices and be an invaluable tool to judge physical conditions of the soil and the health, diversity and biomass level of soil biology.
Furthermore, we will go beyond organic to learn how to improve the energetic environment of plants as the final step to achieving optimum and maximum nutrient density.
