One and all are invited to a free concert by The VT Bluegrass Pioneers – Danny Coane, Banjo Dan and Willy Lindner and Sam Blagden – on Saturday, July 25, with one-hour shows at 4 PM and 6 PM. (Rain date Sunday, July 26.) The venue is Jaye and Dan Lindner's home at 242 Main Street in Montpelier, with the band on the back porch and audience seating in the yard. Audience will be restricted to about 25 people to allow for proper spacing, and for that reason we are requiring reservations. If you would like to attend please contact us by email, banjodan@pshift.com or phone, 223-6965, and tell us (1) which show you would like to attend and (2) how many people will be in your party.
Parking on premises will not be available except for people with mobility issues, though you'll be able to park on one of the nearby side streets. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. (Much of the yard is on a slope.) We are not serving refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages – just take everything with you when you leave. We cannot offer a bathroom – another good reason for limiting the show to one hour. We ask that you wear a mask when arriving and departing.
This is a first-come, first-served situation, so let us hear from you soon!
