Chief Brian Peete, the new Police Chief of the Montpelier Police Department, would like to invite the community to meet with him on July 4th at 12:00-1:30PM and on July 11th from 12:00-1:30pm at the Statehouse Lawn to solicit feedback.

For these meetings, we have to insist attendees observe social distancing of 6 feet apart and that folks wear their masks. Only up to 150 people can meet in these settings.

In addition to the online Town Hall ZOOM meetings announced earlier, Chief Peete wants to set these times to meet with the public as soon as possible to continue our dialogues with the community we serve. All of these conversations are meant to be listening blocks through which we may hear the community's concerns, acknowledge, and address them in partnership
