The Walk for Black Lives is ON this Sunday, July 5th, at 4 pm, starting at the BFA Fairfax parking lot. Please note the new time. There will be time and space held at 4 pm for any Black, Indigenous or POC to speak to the group. If you are interested in speaking and want to know more about the event please email me - or just show up.

We'll walk down Hunt St. to Main St. and turn around at the Community Center, following sidewalks and maintaining physical distancing. Anyone unable to participate in the walk can meet us at the community center around 4:30, where we'll stop briefly. Please wear a mask and bring a sign. Kids are welcome.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any thoughts or concerns about how we should be approaching the issue of racial justice in our community, or if you are doing racial justice work and would like to collaborate.
