Thursday morning on Goddard College Community Radio, we'll explore the power of ritual to imbue our lives with meaning and knit together communities, speaking with local elders and an internationally active promoter of rituals.

Casper Ter Kuile's new book, The Power of Ritual: Turning Everyday Activities into Soulful Practice, looks at how we can build more meaning in the things we're already doing in our lives, through the ancient practice of ritual. He is a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School and former Director of Possibility at the On Being Impact Lab.

In Vermont, Fran Weinbaum has been guiding community-based rites of passage for adults for the last ten years, grounded in Nature. RoseMary Werely is grounded in her Micmac traditions and practices intuitive healing. The two of them are part of a circle of Central Vermont grandmothers getting to know each other and exploring their power.
