This class is designed to help you navigate the new and exciting world of Owning & Caring For A Family Cow and Calf.

Topics to discuss will include:
* Animal Health: organically approved treatments including the use of Homeopathic remedies
* Grazing Management
* Calf Care
* Animal Nutrition
* Breeds and Breeding
* Housing and Husbandry
* Marketing your milk: raw milk regulations in VT

Class will include some hands-on learning (you can try hand-milking a cow!) and we will provide you with a list of useful books and resource links, livestock product catalogs, and product samples to get you on your way.

Cost: $60 or two for $110
